Flux and real wave packets

The previous section showed that the asymptotic product analysis as used in determining reaction probabilities from real wave packet propagation in Ref. [12] is in fact equivalent to a particular limit of flux-based formulae. This suggests that one might be able to carry out the analysis of real wave packets also with flux-based formulae using any suitable dividing surface and this more general result is demonstrated here.
